This small hackberry wood jewelry dish has a few small beetle holes.  The beetles have moved out.  I don't throw out wood that has a few beetle holes, especially when it looks like this.  I like the amber transition lines around the curly growth rings and hints of gold and gray on the cream colored wood.  This wood is iridescent and that can be best seen in the video.
