#2797 Wild Black Cherry Wooden Platter (14 1/2" x 1 1/2")

This fantastic wild black cherry wooden platter is made from a piece of a 200 year old cherry tree.  The tree was removed from a local college campus to make way for a new building.  I am very fortunate to have the chance to save it for posterity.  This beautiful platter has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot.  There is a filled worm hole.  It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
