#2811 Wild Black Cherry Wooden Ring Dish (4 5/8" x 3/4")

This wild black cherry ring dish was made from a plank I cut from a log.  The log was from a 200 year old cherry tree that was removed by a local college to make way for a new building.  Thank you to the tree service that brought me the log, thank you to mother nature for the superb tree that produced the log.  This small dish has oblong bullseye figure, some amber growth ring transition lines and red highlights.  It has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot.  It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
