#2790 Ambrosia Maple Wooden Fruit and Salad Bowl (12" x 3 5/8")

This beautiful ambrosia maple bowl is perfect for fruit or salads.  The beetle holes have been filled on the inside but left open on the outside.  The ambrosia streaks are the result of the beetles.  All of my bowls are soaked in denatured alcohol for several days when they are turned initially.  The alcohol helps the drying process and insures that there are no living creatures in the wood.  This bowl will serve 2-4 depending on portion size.  It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.  There is a shallow repaired stress crack on the outside surface near the bottom but it is not structural.
