This claro walnut weed pot came from a piece of veneer core. The dried flowers do not come with the vase. A veneer core (like an apple core) is what is left of a log that that has been "peeled" to make veneer. Veneer logs are chosen for their figure and are very expensive. The cores aren't cheap either. There is a small 3/8" long repaired stress crack that can be seen in the bottom view photo. This weed pot has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
