This fantastic wild cherry plate comes from a plank from a 200 year old wild cherry tree. Every piece of this log is magical. This one has swirling growth ring transition lines on one side and quilt figure on the other side. This bowl comes from the edge of a crotch burl. This shallow bowl or plate has a rounded over, curved taper rim and a small raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
