Busy With Baseball

I have been working. I announced my intention to put up at least two bowls every day until the end of the year. I have made at least two bowls each day since that post but I haven’t put them up yet. I’m busy at night with baseball.

My Atlanta Braves are in the playoffs. They let a win slip through their hands yesterday. The papers were filled with stories today about the loss. We were bitten by the injury bug again last night. One of our better relief pitchers pulled a muscle during his warm up pitches on the mound. He had to leave the game before throwing a single pitch to a batter.

I’m watching again tonight. So far we are ahead. I’m crossing my fingers that the outcome is better tonight. Both of my sons are Atlanta Braves fans. My oldest, Nathan, arranged for us to see a game in Atlanta last month. The new stadium, Sun Trust Park, is wonderful.
