I Love to Learn But.....

Creating this new website has been a huge challenge for me. There has been so much to learn. I would much rather be making bowls on the lathe. Oscar my Great Dane feels the same way. He’s tired of waiting around the house watching me work on the computer, he wants to go to the shop.

I like the challenge of learning new things and there are many new things to learn. I am using new software that has nothing in common with the software that the old website used except they are both done on the computer. I am using the new software because it is very powerful and easy to customize. The pages will load faster and it works well on mobile devices.

I love the new features and I think you will too. There are more ways to pay including ApplePay, Visa, AmEx, Mastercard, Discover, PayPal and Venmo. There are more ways to search and sort (by price, wood type and size). My blog is now on the website, not at another address. You also have the option of creating an account so that if you buy again (thank you, so many of you do!) that your info is already on file. There is an option to sign up for my newsletter/mailing list to alert you to new products and special sales (with coupon codes only for mailing list subscribers).

It won’t be that much longer until Oscar and I are back in the shop making things.
