Purchase Training

I realized today that I hadn’t offered any training on how to buy a bowl or puzzle on this website. It’s very clear from the anemic sales that you need training, too! So the first thing you need to decide is just who you’re buying this for. If it’s for you, move on to the next paragraph. Aunts and uncles, sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers all love handmade one of a kind wood art. Bosses love things made from wood too. If you’re married, it’s probably better to skip the yoga instructor and the pool boy Housewarming, Mother’s Day, weddings (especially weddings) anniversaries (remember the five year anniversary is wood!), Christmas, these are all good reasons to buy a bowl.

OK, now you know who and why so let’s get to the how. Go to the top of this page and click on shop. Here you will find a plethora of pleasing potential purchases. I’ve tried to make it easy for you to separate the wheat from the chaff. Across the top, under the featured bowls are three ways to sort your choices. They are “type of wood”, “size” and “price”. Some snobs wouldn’t consider buying anything but walnut so you can sort by wood type. The size sort is for people that think size matters. The price sort is for cheapskates and big spenders.

Down the left side of the page are categories. Why waste a lot of time scrolling down the page looking at bowls if you know you want a platter or a puzzle. Clearly by now you can see how valuable I think your time is. I want you to be able to find what you’re looking for fast and furiously.

Tomorrow we’ll discuss the force necessary to click on the “add to cart” button and other important aspects of completing the sale. Stay sharp, get some rest, I’m going to need you focused tomorrow.
