This small black palm wood jewelry dish has beautiful striped figure of brown and black. This is the natural color, I never use dyes or stains. Black palm is very porous but takes a nice polish. This wood comes from tropical Asia and Africa. I got this piece at a hardwood supplier in NC 10 years ago and i only have a few inches left of the small plank. This little dish has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
