When you have a beautiful 200 year old log you use every inch of it to make something. This small wild black cherry bowl came from a plank from that log. The color is so rich with clearly defined growth ring transition lines. There are unfilled wormholes in various places. I deliberately turned this shape to show off the color and figure. It's an exaggerated bell shape with a soft rounded over rim. It has a very small raised rim foot. The oil finish is natural and food safe.
