#2844 Wild Black Cherry Wooden Bowl (5 5/8" x 2 1/4")

This small black cherry wood bowl came from a 200 year old wild cherry tree that was removed to make way for a new building at a local college campus.  There is a patch of spalting on one side around the growth ring bullseye.  This lovely bowl has a rounded over, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot.  It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
