This beautiful pommele sapele wooden bowl has spectacular, chatoyant dapple figure.  The wood is from Africa and is a cousin of mahogany.  One of the common names for sapele is African mahogany.  I really love the copper/rust coloration.  Pommele is French for dappled.  This bowl has a rounded over, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot.  It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
