This beautiful small bowl or ring dish is made from a pommele sapele plank. Pommele means dappled in French and this bowl is certainly dappled but it also has quilt figure running diagonally. It is a stunning combination. The entire plank is this way so there will be more of these bowls in the future too but it's hard to beat this one, it's gallery quality with a smooth patina, food safe, natural, oil finish. It has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot.
