Back In Business

My sync cable came yesterday so I was able to photograph the bowls that were waiting to be put up on the website. I could have driven a couple of hours to get one. All of the camera stores in the area have closed down. I’m sure it’s a combination of things, big box stores sell nice cameras and everything is available on the internet with free shipping.

In most cases, I shop on the internet anyway. Not because of cheaper prices, although sometimes they are, it’s because of convenience. One to two hours of driving, the expense of the gas and wear and tear on my truck and lost time in the shop make it very expensive to shop in person. At least once a week, Oscar and I make a trip to either Mooresville or Salisbury. We always need a part for something.

Below is a lovely silver maple bowl I made today. The figure reminds me of a landscape painting.
