Medium sized mineral stained hickory wooden bowl. This hickory wooden bowl has an undercut rim and a raised foot. There are several repaired hairline stress cracks on one side, they are nearly invisible. When I made this bowl I thought it was so spectacular. This hickory bowl was made from a tree that was growing behind the cottage on my farm where my oldest daughter lives with her husband. It was hit by lightning and died. The tree was 24" in diameter and was leaning over the roof of the cottage. The cottage lost a wonderful shade tree but the logs were put to good use by being made into beautiful wooden bowls.

Food safe, natural, oil finish.
