When you have a very small piece of boxelder burl you make a very small boxelder burl wooden bowl. Thumbelina could use it for a bathtub. This beautiful little bowl has a swatch of quilt figure and lovely gray and amber markings. Believe it or not, it takes longer to make a small bowl like this than a large one but the wood is so special I had to turn it. This bowl has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
