#2532 Curly Wild Black Walnut Wooden Bowl 8 7/8" x 3 3/8"
This curly black walnut wood bowl has wonderful color and figure. It has chatoyant figure (like a cats eye marble) that leaps out when you turn it in the light. It has repaired drying stress cracks. Even though I take many measures to prevent bowls from drying too fast, some of them get these stress cracks. They are not structural and will not crack further. We have several bowls over 15 years old with repaired stress cracks that are used every day. This bowl has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
