This small black walnut wooden bowl is made from quartersawn stock. The growth rings are perpendicular to the face in straight lines like stripes. This piece of wood was a “leftover” in the making of a large walnut salad bowl. This dish has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a small raised foot. It has a food safe, natural oil finish.
