#2559 Black Walnut Wooden Ring Dish 3 7/8" x 3/4"
This small black walnut ring dish has unusual figure. It is made from a small piece of walnut burl veneer core (the core that is left when a veneer log is “peeled”) but it doesn’t has the typical burl figure. One half has dark chocolate transition lines the other half looks completely different. One of the things I like most about wood is how unpredictable the color and figure is even in a dish just under 4” wide. This dish has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a small raised foot.
