#2564 Spalted Wild Black Walnut Wooden Fruit and Salad Bowl 10 1/4" x 3 3/8"
This medium sized wild black walnut salad and fruit bowl has spalting, curly growth rings and purple highlights. It has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot. There are very small, fine stress cracks in one area that occurred during the drying process. They have been repaired and are not structural. I really like the contrast between the gold spalting and the dark chocolate brown with purple highlights. This bowl has a food safe, natural, oil finish. It serves 2-4 depending on portion size.
