This small wild black cherry wood bowl came from a plank from a 200 year old cherry tree. I cut the log on my sawmill and this bowl came from one of those planks. The tree was on a local college campus and had to be removed during construction of a new building. Luckily the tree guys brought it to me. This bowl has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot.
