This medium sized spalted maple wooden bowl has amber base coloration with cream, salmon, gray and black with hints of green in some of the heavily spalted areas. There are some small pock marks where the spalting was advanced and one area near the rim with minor, repaired, cracks from drying stress. This bowl would be great for serving bread or rolls or as a small fruit or salad bowl. It has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
