This pommele sapele wooden bowl has understated figure but the dapple shows up when you turn it in the light. Sapele is native to Africa. While I don’t usually use exotic woods, this sapele so special I had to buy it. This piece has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot. This bowl has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
