This small wild black cherry wooden bowl comes from the very large, 200 year old cherry log that has been turned into more than 50 bowls. The tree was removed from a local college campus to make way for a new building. I still have enough wood from that log to make another 50 bowls at least. This small bowl has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a small raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
