Those that follow my work know about the 200 year old cherry tree log that I was privileged to get. I have made many bowls from it. This small bowl is made from a crotch burl. The color is deep copper/pink with quilt figure. I’m honored to be entrusted with such beautiful wood and I try my best to make something worthy from it. This small bowl was handmade on a lathe in my woodshop in rural NC. It has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a small raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
