This small hickory wooden bowl is made from a flat sawn hickory plank. The grain runs parallel with the face resulting in growth ring circles in the bottom of the bowl. Most of the bowl is honey/amber colored heartwood with just a small bit of cream colored sapwood on the rim. This bowl has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a small raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
