This large natural edge walnut bowl is made from a wild black walnut log. The bowl is actually round it just looks oval. Since the log was longer than it was wide, the long ends stick out further that the wide sides do. These “winged” bowls are harder to turn, they take a very steady hand. The result is often beautiful though and this one qualifies. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
