This small wild black cherry wood bowl has lush copper pink coloration and a patch of quilt figure . This bowl came from wood near a crotch burl hence the quilting. There are several repaired stress cracks on each side of the bowl that occurred during the drying process. This bowl has a rounded over, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
