This lovely tiger maple wooden bowl has abundant tiger figure. The figure is chatoyant (like a cat’s eye marble) and seems to jump off the surface when you turn it in the light. You can see it best in the video. This bowl was made from a plank I got from Pennsylvania. I wound up paying a pretty price for it but this bowl is the reward! There is a bud scar (repaired on the inside) and a stripe greenish gray through the middle of the bottom of the bowl. This bowl has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
