This hollow form is made from a southern maple plank that was handpicked for me by a friend with a custom molding business. He processed thousands of board feet of lumber every month and when something really special came along, he would set it aside for me. He made some money and I got a plank like this to make beautiful bowls and hollow forms out of. This hollow form has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
