This small black walnut wood jewelry dish is handmade by me on a lathe. It is made out of wood collected by me over the course of 50 years. All of those short pieces left over from projects are perfect for making these ring dishes. The hard part is keeping them away from my wife who loves miniature bowls. While these aren’t really miniature, they are small. This dish came from a piece of quartersawn walnut that was made from the center cut of a big log. It has a rainbow of colors including milk chocolate, dark chocolate, black and reddish brown. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
