This is a stunning wild black walnut wood bowl. The bud scars are chatoyant, the grain is very curly and there is a rainbow of color. It reminds me of “The Starry Night” by van Gogh. I repaired a few bud scars and a knot. This bowl is one I’d be glad to keep if it doesn’t sell. This bowl has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
