This wormy quartersawn white oak wood bowl was made from a tree that was felled in a storm in the 80’s. I had the tree milled and air dried the lumber. Most of the tree was used in our home that we built in 1994. The rest I’ve used for special projects and bowls. This was a very old tree and one of the planks had a musket ball in it. I especially like the swirling chatoyant rays in this bowl that you see when you turn it in the light. This bowl has a curved taper, undercut rim and a raised foot. Food safe, natural, oil finish.
