This beautiful live edge, birdseye big leaf maple charcuterie board is made of a sliced burl cap. It comes from Oregon. Burls can be cut off of a living tree and the tree will survive, much like cutting off a limb. I bought this piece in an auction many years ago and just uncovered it in my shop. I’m glad I found it. Food safe, natural, oil finish.
