#2108 Hop Hornbeam Wooden Dish 8" x 7/8" Ironwood Wooden Dish Jewelry Dish Ring Dish
This hop hornbeam dish has a very interesting color. This shallow wood dish is white, gray, rust and green and has chatoyant flame or fiddleback figure showing when you turn it in the light. This ironwood dish makes the perfect entryway gift for keys and change. Perfect for jewelry.
This is the first item I’ve made from ironwood. The wood for this hop hornbeam dish came from a tree that was on my property. The tree was removed from the site where my son built his house. I sawed it into planks on my sawmill. This bowl came from one of those planks.
Many of the bowls I make come from locally sourced hardwoods. The logs are brought to me by tree trimmers and family, friends and neighbors.
This dish has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
