This small pillow quilted big leaf maple wooden bowl has pillow quilt figure on the bottom and up one side. The quilt figure is striking and looks almost like balloons. Big leaf maple is prized for it's highly figured, smooth wood. It comes from Oregon and Washington.
Pillow quilted maple is fairly rare. I was lucky to bid on a few small pieces like this one.
This small quilted maple bowl could be used for nuts or wrapped candy.
Food safe, natural, oil finish.
