#2544 Ambrosia Maple Pin Cushion Bowl 4 5/8" x 1 3/8"
First let me say this bowl has nothing to do with pin cushions it’s just the shape of my mother’s pin cushion. When I was a little boy that pin cushion was pretty fascinating (and it got me in trouble more than once). This small bowl has the distinctive markings left behind when the ambrosia beetle lived there. The piece of wood this bowl was made from was milled in 1977 and has been in my shop ever since waiting for an assignment. It finally made something of itself.
