This curly wild black walnut bowl is one of several from the same tree and it’s as beautiful if not more beautiful than the ones I’ve already out up for sale. The combination of curly growth ring figure, exquisite color (red, copper, milk chocolate and dark chocolate), bud scars and chatoyant quilt figure is extremely unusual. It’s hard for me not to keep this one in my collection. It has a rounded, curved taper, undercut rim and a small raised foot. It has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
