#2570 Wild Black Walnut Natural Edge Wooden Bowl 7" x 3 3/4"
I have a zillion hours in the making of this bowl. I put it on the lathe six or seven times over the course of a month. When it was finally finished, it slipped out of my hands and fell on the concrete floor of my shop and broke a 3 1/2” section of the bark off. I could have picked up the pieces (3) and tried to put humpty dumpty back together again but I didn’t. Too many hours already! There is a patch of quilt figure, some ink black transition lines from the spalting and a beautiful balanced shape. This bowl has a food safe, natural, oil finish.
